Nobu Kaji is an illustrator and graphic artist with an expertise in pencil, pen and ink, and watercolor.
Over the past 25 years, Nobu worked as an Art Director, creating brochures, direct mail and product design for various food companies. During this time, he also designed San Francisco guide books for the Japanese tourist industry and cover design layouts for children's books.
For over 10 years, Nobu was an in-house graphic artist at Fisher Friedman Associates, Design Architects, managing all project digital image data files including location photos, construction and finished project images. He was also responsible for creating presentation boards and brochures for meetings with new clients.
Nobu is currently teaching basic drawing classes at College of San Mateo, and teaches an after-school program at the South San Francisco Park and Recreation Department.
Nobu has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and was presented with the Merit Award at the annual Spring Show in1984, and Merit Award, The Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, 1988.
